As the result of abundant requests from the blind and visually impaired living in foreign countries, the Jewish Heritage embarked on a project to produce Braille children’s storybooks in French, Hebrew, and Spanish. We carefully selected top titles of interest, translated and transcribed them into Braille, printed and bound them impressively, and finally shipped them to blind children across the world.
This endeavor has met with much success, and we are now in the process of choosing an all new series of books to print and make available to our blind friends overseas. Although it may not be a fast or easy task to carry out, the “Todah”s, “Merci”’s and “Gracias” we receive make it well worth the effort.
